I was worried that I might not get enough detail from a single strand of DMC cotton floss to simulate Araki’s linework, but ooh. Oh. Mmm.
It’s just a practice eye, mind you. Tomorrow I’ll trace Araki’s drawing onto fabric (the hardest/funnest part) and start stitching for real. I’m very excited by the challenge of staying true to his line. Expect more photos.

So, I made this in about an hour or so. I’m torn between Josuke and Jotaro, so I made Josuke first, but his nephew is definitely next on the list. Maybe I’ll do all of the Jojo’s one day.

And actually, she’s gone through a couple incarnations. She was originally going to be like this:
With a ball and baseball glove which was maybe a cuter composition but I couldn’t get her to look right in any reasonable amount of time. And then when I switched her arms I couldn’t get them to hold in any position again! D:
So it’s mostly been her arms that have been an issue but I think I’ve got them stable now, so it’s just fixing up details when I’m taking mini-breaks from work.
She’s so close! Wahhhh, pray for me. I don’t know I’m having so many difficulties with things I’m normally awesome at lately! OTL
